About This Product

This bunk bed skips the tall, boxy headboard most bunk beds default to. The simplified frame keeps both beds low to the ground, so the top bunk has more headroom and the bottom bunk is easy to get in and out of from any side, in a clean white finish that reads more like real furniture than a dorm-style bunk.

It's built from solid pine with strong wood slats, a metal support bar, and metal-on-metal bolt connections, and it's rated to support up to 400 pounds. Fourteen-inch guardrails run the length of the top bunk for sleep security.

No box spring or bunkie board is needed. Max & Lily recommends a 5 to 8 inch mattress for the best fit under the guardrails.
