This 2-drawer file cabinet trades MDF and particleboard for 0.8mm steel, giving it a firmness and moisture resistance that flat-pack wood cabinets typically can't match. The matte black finish and clean, understated shape keep it from looking like a supply-closet leftover next to a desk.
Each drawer holds letter, legal, A4, or F4 hanging files (150-300 files per drawer) and locks with a single key. An interlocking mechanism allows only one drawer to open at a time, which helps prevent the cabinet from tipping, and smooth ball slides keep both drawers quiet in daily use. Locking caster wheels plus one fixed wheel let you roll it into place and then keep it put.
The cabinet arrives fully assembled aside from attaching the wheels, so there's no flat-pack assembly to get wrong. Sized at 12.1"W x 16.3"D x 9.8"H, it fits neatly under a desk or beside it in a home office.
