White Minimalist Cable Management Box, Yamazaki Home

A cable box that actually looks intentional sitting out on a desk or console, rather than something to hide behind furniture. The ventilated PC-ABS resin shell holds a power strip with up to seven outlets, with side and rear openings so cords can run in and out without forcing the lid.

Yamazaki Home designs around "small-space living" principles out of Japan, and it shows here: rubber feet keep it from sliding or scratching floors, the lid stays put under light weight so you can stack something on top, and the continuous opening along the long side is barely noticeable when closed. A handful of reviewers found the plastic thinner than expected for the price, but the majority describe it as sturdier and better finished than cheaper alternatives.
